12-07-2019, 09:26 AM #153She's got no engine, gearbox, etc ..It surprised me just how how high she was without them lol I did ask him when we took her up there if he had raised the coilover by a metre lol

I had the same problems Sam, infact i tried to send something back which was £300 and as they had the car for so long i was stuck with it. It seems project cars never go to plan
Looks really nice, Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh !

It was Lucky you had the engine out if they had trouble getting the car on the ramp, other wise it would of been a few cm lower ! lol

He was most concerned that the tow hook and cable would rub, dent, scrape, or worse, pull on the splitter so it had tons of padding under there and the three of them did it millimetre by millimetre to make sure it was ok.

12-07-2019, 09:43 AM #158Yes that was an option, but we were trying to avoid it if possible cos Leon didn't want it loose in the trailer and risk getting a mark / scratch on it ... even with all the padding and covering in the world.. the car was absolutely filthy too, covered in dust so we were concerned trying to wrap it would drag the dust over the paint. .. But she arrived back in MK safe and sound .. I doubt that trailer has ever been driven so slowly lol as I was right behind it monitoring the speed and bump negotiations ......... til a long straight bit of road anyway .. the Suki felt the need to overtake Sachi as it was her only chance lol
