Don't bother with NOS unless you plan to use it properly. If you want purge only then buy CO2.

also be ware with NOS you have t declare it to your insurance company if the bottle is in the car as its a explosive gas when compressed and leagally you have to have a compressed gas sign on the back of your car like what you see of the back of vans that carry propane and asetalene for example.

CO2 is better because a CO2 canister is technically a fire extinguisher and does not have the problesm as listed above so can be fitted with no isnurance of signage issues.

also be aware that if remember rightly that insurance companies will rip you a new a*s hole with your premium as you tecnically carrying a bomb in the back of your car so be very cautious and remember if it aint declared then your policy is invaild.

Also remember that you will have to map the car to account for the NOS to get the best results but you have after market tuning so thats not going to be a massive problem.

bottom line if you want perfomance and purge fit the NOS be make sure its declared and marked up.

if you want purge just get CO2 its just less hassle.

and on a sub note i have been in a e46 M3 with NOS i think it was a 100 shot and trust it goes like nothing i have ever experience and i have been in ferrari F50's and Porsche 911 turbos and this was quick so also bear that in mind.

Yeah insurance is the only real stumbling point for me. But then I guess I could quickly resolve that by having it filled with CO2 for purging only when daily driving, and having a tank of the real stuff set aside for events when on private land.

i think stall if your lucky. as i said if your going to have co2 then just have a purge kit and sell on the NOS kit CO2 purge kits are some much cheaper as well.

Either that or have a co2 purge kit wired up for just purge and run the NOS kit just into the engine either wet of dry shot what ever your kit is set up for unless you have a direct port kit.
