Thanks rabs, I stuck a few cm's round it made sure it was a good connection.
Do the led bulbs for the fogs make a major difference??

Rabster heat-shrink is better but as you don't have any make sure its well insulated

I soldered my wires together and then wrapped in insulating tape.

I had a look at heat-shrink in Maplins the other day with a view to getting some for next time I do something like this but I not sure what I need, in particular what you use to shrink it with. Do I need a special heat gun or something?

Am I right in thinking that by adding these diode kit it will make my fogs act as brake lights? Sorry for asking the obvious but new to these cars. If so could I get a kit please ?
