ormi Mate if I was closer I'd come remove the engine for you..I really would....

Please don't say that. It's like waving a carrot in front of a donkey Sad

At this point I'd rather think that my car was a write-off and nobody in the world could fix it. The temptation to just take out a big loan and go the whole hog with a massive rebuild at a professional garage has been hard to fight.

I may have access to an engine crane and a couple of bodies to help.

To be honest removing an engine wouldn't take long..but I would look for a good second hand one first before rebuilding the one you have it will also be cheaper and make the job quicker..
But I wouldn't touch the car till you have decided if your going to court or not..as for tools...various spanners ratchets sockets screwdrivers and a few levers and a powerbar..

Is that where you get all your Power Ormi?

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

Thats the biggest problem tbh. I've yet to come across an IS300 engine for anywhere near a decent price.

There's plenty of GS300 engines, but something tells me they aren't a direct bolt up?

Do you think that if I returned my car completely back to stock and fixed the engine I would get more for it as a standard IS300, or more for it if I stripped the car for parts (not including the performance parts)?
