Tints look good mate, set the car off nicley :thumbup1:
Generally you'll be okay with 50% + on the front as the legal limit is 70% so always a bit of leway, from B pillar back can be as dark as you like

steviewevie Sorry, that's not right.
70% is how much light the windows have to let in, not how much they can be tinted. So 50% is way over the legal limit, and bear in mind that windows will have a slight factory tint anyway to start with, so a 50% tint applied on top will result in windows that are perhaps 60% or so tinted.

russelllinn Depends how you read it, what I implied is that a reading from a 'tintman' of 50% plus with the police would on the whole be acceptable as the legal limit is for 70% of light to pass through the windows!! There is 'on the whole' a percentage leway before prosecution so below 50% to 30% would be a Fixed Penalty then below that prohibition and summons.ok, sorry for misunderstanding what you were saying then. But if you get a "50% tint", then doesn't that mean it cuts out approx 50% of the light ? I've never had my windows tinted so don't know how they spec it exactly. Are you saying it means they've given you a tint which is less than 50%, i.e. lets 50% plus light through ?
