I love the 4 wheel drive system on the Audi's.. I have a 2.5TDi Quattro Sport, running 200bhp and it is so solid and secure in the snow..:thumbup: And mine has an ageless plate, well at present anyway, the other half hates it, so have to sell it on..

Still nowhere near as much fun as a BMW!! :p:p But I must hand it to Audi, the cars are superbly built and a very nice place to sit.

Nice motor there mate Smile

If you were worried about driving in snow any car fitted with winter tyres will be capable regardless of what drive it is. Or was that just an excuse to get another motor! :p

The Evo is 4WD, and 500+bhp! Did you see the Evo X on snow on Top Gear USA?

No didn't see that, was it any good?

A 4WD might be able to get going in the snow/ice/slush but when it comes to stopping it's as much use as any other car if it's on summer tyres. I was looking at a cheap 4WD winter runabout but then decided to get the car I wanted and fit winter tyres to it instead.

Just watched the video, don't have sound at work, did they say what tyres it had on?
