But back (off) topic, I looked at a 545i M Sport today and fell in love. The Mrs loved it too and there's just enough room in there for us all.
Started it up and gave it a rev in the car lot, and practically creamed myself. The noise form that engine was awesome. Proper deep and gurgly like a 4L+ V8 should be.
Going back for a test drive soon and to talk $$, but we may have found a winner.
Only thing is, I'm going to be just another of the millions of BMW drivers in the UK
But hey-ho, I cant turn back time and un-blow-up my IS300 Oh and I got offered £5k trade-in for the LS. So for anyone interested, snap it up now before I let a dealer make a mint from me.

Not surprised in the slightest - glad you've found what you were looking for
The ride isn't perfect, and the interior isn't the best quality, but the overall package is impressive.
