purplewitch Why is that engine wearing condoms ?
because now he has 2 he doesn't want them mating otherwise he'd have a offspring of V8's ofcourse

What wasn't sexy was the gunge in the sump... or the fact that whoever refitted it last used about 10x more sump sealer than they needed so it was in the oil drains in the block and all sorts! Apparently that engine was removed from the Soarer because it had a rear main seal leak and low compression in 1 cylinder... I'm yet to strip it down to find out why but I think I'll keep the rods and crank and flog the rest. The pistons and heads are different and I think I'm highly unlikely to damage the block!
