[COLOR="DarkOrchid"]Before everyone gets the hump let me explain my understanding of this ...mainly because I got the hump a while back when a similar thing happened to me over wing mirror glass for my Honda ....

Companies like Newera, only import things via containers and although you can book different sizes, they start at big, very big and huuuuge. In order to source smaller items they would have to pass on astronomical freight charges to cover the cost of their container space... there is no way in a million years any of us would pay those costs ...

You're right of course, a bit more explanation might calm frustrations and a group buy is a possible suggestion( but I do think we'd need more buyers than even we have IS200's lol) but OJC needs to do the legwork before taking it to them ... I expect being on many many forums, this is a common issue that must get frustrating to keep trying to explain to people. I can kinda sympathise based on how many times I have had to say 'Yes you do have to do your tax return, as you have done for the last 15 years!' this week

Slating a club sponsor in this way is not helping.

Ormi wants a part that costs $200, has said that he is not willing to pay $200. In order to get it sourced in Japan, sent to the UK, pay import tax, VAT and delivery to Ormi under $200 will be a miracle.

If finding the part is difficult then the time spent finding it will destroy any potential for profit they run a business not a charity.

I agree with all of the above from phil and Sam but can also see the frustration from members, in reality I think we all need to calm down and think about it from all positions, yes the reply was short and didn't really explain but as said above he is on a large amount of forums plus running a company so that may explain that.

Let's see if a group buy is an option and even cross over to the altezza forums and see if we can get them interested to make even bigger numbers (just a thought)

2tongues Slating a club sponsor in this way is not helping.

This 100%.

The club prides itself on the relationship between it and it's sponsors. Whilst the message from Newera may have been abrupt, it's a no nonsense answer which I am sure Ormi understood and appreciated.

Let's just close this discussion up here and move on.

Any chance of getting hold of a genuine Bomex front bumper for an MR2. Would prefer the round fog style if possible
