Agree that is one Hell of a splitter, really needs the rest of the kit as it looks a little out of place,

But good work on the spray job

Thanks for the comments yeah will be getting side skirts when weather a bit better to hard to paint in garage when it this cold.
Anyway quick update finally got a new manifold a stainless steel one not sure how good it will be but better than risking melting my cats!
Im thinking of wrapping it but some people said dont? i want to to keep the heat away from my charger and silicone piping, what you think should or shouldnt i?

If you can them why not in my opinion. Just make sure you do it correctly and securely.

I would wrap them but just make sure you don't leave any gaps as this creates hot spots and can then cause damage, very good way of keeping the heat in and away from other components

Here is another member with the same manifold!!! Have you thought of ceramic powder coating the manifold. Better choice than wrapping it and also looks nice in the engine bay!

Just a quick question. what is that copper wire you've run from the throttle body to your intake? Is it just an extension of the air temp probe wiring?

yeah just intake air sensor needed to go there.

thanks, yeah think im going to wrap it yeah heard you need to not have hot spots as thats where its likely to crack but its out so will wrap it properly then fit it.

lookatmybiceps yeah just intake air sensor needed to go there.

Thought so cheers dude.

I wrapped my manifold when i had the precats cut out of it.
It was pretty easy to do just time consuming. I soaked the wrap before i wrapped the manifold so it was more flexible then let it dry for a day or two then sprayed the whole lot with high temp silicone paint.
I'm pretty pleased with the results. With the engine up to temp you can put your hand on the manifold now. It's hot to the touch but doesn't burn which is pretty cool.
(Excuse the pun)
