Rabster steve why not replace the factory led on the cluster with the toad LED that keeps it with the OEM look of the dashboard......

If you do go down that route, remember the TOAD LED is dual colour, which the stock one probably isn't, and it's the wrong way round for most multi-colour LEDs. Usually you'd have multiple positives with a shared negative but the TOAD one is shared positive and multiple negatives. Also it needs to be a smoked style LED rather than one with a totally clear housing.

I imagine that's probably how the stock one is done - it won't be held in with an LED clip because it will be relatively flush mounted, so it'll be held in place by its legs.Couldn't say without seeing the board

You could always attach 1 leg to the PCB for a +ve feed and then run the -ve legs to the TOAD alarm via wires.
