Hi all,

The dark side of the fleet - my Clio Alize. I have it as the daily for resting the GTi, and recently she has been looking a little shabby.

I'm not really attached to this motor but the interior is pristine and if I have a motor outside my house it better be smart.

So here's the list of small faults:

*Fog light surrounds faded
*Bumper Plastics Faded
*Side Strips faded
*Boot Trim faded
*Door Handles faded
*Hub caps scuffed
*Oil Leak
*Dent behind drivers door
*Scuffs on front bumper
*Dent on O/S Rear Arch

It's all cosmetic tweaks bar the random oil leak.. I hate french cars so **** much.

But here is what I've been doing for this week at least:

I feel your pain. I f**king hate Clios!! Had the misfortune to work on 3 of them and got to do ABS rings on another one this week.

Like wheel number 1, I also hate french cars but at least you have one that works

Most are broken or destroyed by chavs :lol:

Most of them are destroyed by their own design!! My mums one has gone through 8 ignition coils and 2 pairs of driveshafts in about 5 years, and now the oil pressure warning light comes on randomly...

It is truly terrible - and I know the wheels are a bit gash but I wanted to have a bash at some wheel DIY. Will be good practise for doing it on decent cars with slightly meaner colours Big Grin

And now we have the first coat of white:

Will do another couple of coats later and then lacquer it to see what the finished product is like. I will likely do the rest of them is this colour set too.

Maybe some day I can get myself insured on a proper car... like an AE92 GTi for example... Wink
