Hi, i have got my hands on an armrest (off an IS200 AUTO), the problem is can it be fitted to my current console (IS200 MANUAL)?
Ive screwed the lid off, the hinge for the lid looks like its built into the console.
Does anyone know what I need to do or get?

Thanks

It's certainly possible...I've done it (which also means it can't be that hard  )

You do have to remove the actual centre console section in order to get the arm rest fitted. There's a guide on here somewhere by Moley with pictures, that's what I followed... Have a dig about in the workshop section. I'm on my phone so I can't search too easily...

IS200 Sport - Sold
Mazda 6 MPS - Zoom Zoom!

Modifications
Completed:

Currently 280bhp/295lbft; 3" Meercat custom exhaust; KW Suspension; FMIC; SSP; HPFP; Custom Stainless Steel Dials - for the moment, the only set in the world!! (Till the group buy for MPSOC anyway  )

In Progress:

E-Tuning remap ongoing via Cobb Accessport; Braided brake lines; Stubby aerial; Tinted repeaters and sidelights; 3 Port Boost Control Solenoid; 3" HTP Intake

you can indeed fit it to a manual car i did it in my old IS200 as above there is a guide on how to do it the rear cubby hole unbolts and comes out as a lump allowing it to bolt in the car in its place and the refit your centre console around it

I just realised I dont have the cubby box from the auto, I only have the original cubby from mine. Is it essential that I have this?

You need the smaller cubby as the armrest tower takes up the back half of the original cubby. Though I guess you could cut down the original?
