Do you think I should run any other cables ? Or is that all I would need ?

to be honest mate it all depends on the sources you want to feed into the tv if you know what TV you are using then i would copy all the connections to a remote location out the way somewhere

02-03-2020, 04:33 PM #35My parents have a smaller version of this very one - it is STUNNING, the blacks are just that blacker then our Plasma screen to really make the difference. Don't get me wrong the blacks on our Plasma are very good, just not as good - if that makes sense?

toxo The optical/digital out is the TOSlink that Phil was talking about.
TBH I'd do 2 HDMI, 1 analogue video (probably component), ethernet,2 USB, and an analogue audio (DVI audio in I guess). You'd never use anything else in the forseeable future.
Ok I went onto the site Rabster linked about , I can manage to order the HDMI cables because thats in the link , but as for the other cables mentioned above , when I look for them there is more sub categories with words that mean absolutely nothing to me and I have NO clue what I'm looking for .
I know this is a massive ask but could anyone who knows anything about this have a look through the site in the link and link me what I need to order. I only ask this because I'm getting sparkies in in a few days time and when they are here it would be great if I could give them the cables and get them to do this for me , instead of them working on more trivial things like plugs , sockets and lights for the house :whistling::laugh: .
