Ok so as some of you know i got some repair work that needs doing, i have the car booked in on the 11th for the whole front bumper to be repainted due to the pearl

here is my dilemma the car may be getting a large amount of attention at the weekend and as such i think i need to do something about the damage quickly even if its just to touch it up for photo use only

here is it from a distance

here is it up close

i was thinking of maybe some 1k filler primer then a bit of touch up paint but would this be a bad idea as a body shop has already been arranged....

I know touch up paint won't work (or will but not very well) from my experience with the pearl paint on the MR2. I would just let it slide and await a proper paint job.

The big giveaway that it's there is just the colour, give it a very quick spray with some yellow paint to cover up the black and I doubt anyone will notice.

If the bumper is being completely resprayed any repair you do will have to be properly sanded back and redone anyway so you have nothing to lose.

Dont worry about it, looks like a stone chip.

Just spin the wheels and enjoy it.

As others have said, barely noticeable so I'd just leave it. If it really bothers you, just do what sprinter said and go over it in yellow just to cover it up a bit, don't think it's necessary to fill it.
