So after giving the coilovers long enough to bed in, in addition to some hilarious J-unit griffbitz spirit level camber settings, I decided it was time to go and sort the geo out at WIM.

Hilarity ensued:

Having driven back, all I can say is "wow". Doesn't feel like my car any more, but in a very good way. It's so much smoother now, it also doesn't slow down when I take my foot off the accelerator either, so I'm expecting much better mpg (289 miles from the last tank....).

Customer service at WIM is second to none, great service, great banter and it's obvious that they know what they are doing.

Thanks again for such an excellent job guys! I'll be seeing you soon Big Grin

289 miles from a tank? You must have a lead foot  Even before I was doing mostly motorway miles, I was getting about 90 miles a tank more than you... But I gotta agree, WIM is a great place, dead helpful staff, great banter...

IS200 Sport - Sold
Mazda 6 MPS - Zoom Zoom!

Modifications
Completed:

Currently 280bhp/295lbft; 3" Meercat custom exhaust; KW Suspension; FMIC; SSP; HPFP; Custom Stainless Steel Dials - for the moment, the only set in the world!! (Till the group buy for MPSOC anyway  )

In Progress:

E-Tuning remap ongoing via Cobb Accessport; Braided brake lines; Stubby aerial; Tinted repeaters and sidelights; 3 Port Boost Control Solenoid; 3" HTP Intake

DaveEdin 289 miles from a tank? You must have a lead foot

Dave - about 30 miles per tank dropped off after the coilovers went on, then another 20 after the rear arms/bushes/spirit level camber fiasco. It also wiped all the tread off my rear tyres in less than 1000 miles after we did the rear bush, so it was definitely extremely wrong Big Grin

edit... this is what I was rolling on by the way:

that is pretty special, in a comedy kinda way.

"Life's goal is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body. But, rather to skid in sideways........
totally worn out and broken, shouting 'Holy ****, WHAT A RIDE!'"
