Yeah that seems about right, I think it runs into the old block that is replaced by the amp bypass cable so around that area seems right

I had exactly the same problem myself! Thought it was just due to the stubby aftermarket shark's fin jobby..
Found that black cable behind the stereo today, joined it to the subwoofer remote cable, and voila! Problem solved Big Grin

You might be able to just remove the heated seat switch part to find it mate but to connect it to a power source maybe a bit harder although you can piggy back it off the 12v Cigarette lighter socket providing its not on constantly......

Yea pretty much. I have a single Din unit with a pocket underneath it, so I just had to remove the pocket and heated seat controls and there it was, in full view. It is joined in line with the antenna cable so if you can find that you can almost be guaranteed that you'll find the correct cable Smile
