I'm not too worried about the 501 sidelight bulbs, it's more getting a colour match for the HB4's in the fogs. The SMD/LED ones I linked to might be good enough, could I also use them in the main beam? Or is it an mot failure?

The bulbs I got of ebay do the trick match the light colour really well, didn't bother with LEDs in the fogs just left them the normal bulbs

The bulbs I got of ebay do the trick match the light colour really well, didn't bother with LEDs in the fogs just left them the normal bulbs

I'll have a look!

What about changing the HID bulbs then? Do I just buy a bulb with the wiring and swap them over, or do I need another ballast if I want to change down to a 4300k bulb? (obviously, provided they are 12v 35w bulbs, same as I have)

Whats the legalities of these? Is it gonna pass an MOT? Am I gonna get a tug from the old bill?

as long as they are alighned correctly then yes youll pass the mot...same with the police if you dont blind them your ok
