DoriBoyLV is it possible to pass MOT with decat pipe and manifold?
I have a friendly tester and he tried a genuine emissions test with mine (no cats or boxes in the system, except backbox) it passed the low idle test an just failed the high idle! One Mini Cooper later and I had an MOT certificate :p

remember even if it does pass the emmissions with no cat you need a visable cat in the system to pass

So we finally got my decat fitted, and here is a video of how it sounds cold, and please excuse the position of the back box, it needs the arms shortening a bit to fit it snug. its on the to do list.

Also bought some 2 Piece split rims as a project to get on with over winter. There Enkei RS Evolution:

They are in need of TLC but they will look good once im done with them! Just need to figure out what tool i need to split them! ANY ADVICE ABOUT THIS WOULD BE SUPER COOL!

Update.

Rabster coming along mate not sure on splitting the rims normally its by undoing the bolts but never done it myself lol.....
Nah Rab, when he says he needs help he means identifying a socket to undo the bolts.
I think I've found one though. we are just waiting for him to get home from Manchester so we can have a go!

So the major development has been the fact that I have finally split my enkei RS evolution wheels!

So the next step is to remove the dent from one of them and hand them over to some bloke I've never met to refurb them

Got that fitted and the car sounds much better, the rear silencer is coming out on the 5th of this month and so that will be a straight pipe all the way back! The new manifold is getting bought for me for Christmas
once that's fitted ill have a full stainless system!

So it's been ages since I've posted up on here! Running two jobs is way harder than I first anticipated!!
So the major development has been the fact that I have finally split my enkei RS evolution wheels!

So for those thinking of doing it! It's really worth it! After looking at the silencer it has like a bottle neck in I'm which is an inch and a quater so a huge restriction! I've gone for a straight pipe from the decat to the back box, would could get the turns put in but it costs more!
Lambda sensor I hear you say??? Well, for the time being I don't need it and I prefer not having an engine light glowing back at me! So it's now welded outside of the exhaust on the underside of the car! Fresh air 100% of the time! So it keeps thinking my cats are there and working!
When I'm next under the car lll get a few more pics and will try and sort out a video tomorrow
