Sparkystav its a good mod isnt it mate!
Well, the postman came this morning bringing me one of my parcels. Opened it up, to find four individual boxes inside. Couldn't for the life of me think what I had brought that would require four boxes, two each of two different sizes. Opened up one of each size, to find in there my HID kit. Still thinking it a bit strange at this point, because in opening the two boxes I had, I had all the parts required to upgrade my dipped beam which is what I had ordered.
Anyway, opened the other two boxes to find another complete HID kit in there. BONUS!!! So now I had two HID kits the same, can only use one for my dipped beam, so was going to put the others aside, for the time being thinking I could possibly put them back on ebay. Then I had a brainwave, I was going to be ordering at a later date a kit for my main beam and a kit for my fogs. So three kits in total. I then remembered that my fogs take the same bulbs as my dipped beam. RESULT!!! So for the price of £20 delivered to my door, I had enough to upgrade my dipped and fogs in one go.

But their difficult to fit projectors, as long as you angle the hids down a bit their fine with other drivers and are some much better for driving at night.
Good result getting a free set mate!
TRS offer a drop in kit for IS headlights that mate up to the standard adjustment motors and everything. Cost you a couple of hundred but it's a lot better if you're running HID's.
I might look into projectors at a later date, when I've got that sort of cash spare. Although to be honest, I had projectors fitted with HID's in my 300ZX and they were diabolical. Couldn't see a thing with them, and I had them professionally setup too.
Been out in the car tonight for a bit, the beam seems to be ok,its not high (unlike my mates MG which lights up the top of houses), lights up the road fantastically and so far not had any issues with other motorists flashing at me.
If you couldn't see anything then they were either **** or fitted incorrectly. HID projectors are 10x better than non projector lights when done properly.
No idea to be honest. They were already fitted to the car when I brought it, however there was a reciept for them of over £120 in the history folder. I thought they were bad so took it to my local garage (the only one I trust to touch any of my cars) and got them to set it up correctly, but it didn't really improve it by much. But that car has been and gone.
Got another parcel from the postie today, my sports grill has turned up. Need the weather to improve a bit now so I can go fit it.
