145mm pulley with 295cc injectors?
145mm pulley with 295cc injectors?
I'm looking at finishing off my charger install hopefully before Xmas and before the weather gets any worse. The injectors I have are 295cc part number 23250 11060. Will I be ok running these with a 145mm pulley and an hks fcd or will I run too rich? I'm thinking of probably getting rid of the fcd and get a black box instead though if it'll be better. I want to try and get the car running perfectly first time so if I need different injectors then will change them.

black box is def better, but it will run rich without proper mapping

What if I were to go for 260cc injectors instead? Would it still run rich with a black box?

I agree with Stav, I think another member here has the same problem. He is using 310cc injectors with the black box and his Lexus is running too rich. I would suggest to go for 240cc injectors or stick with the injectors and get an emanage and have it mapped.
The 145mm pulley is a perfect match for 1ZZ (green) injectors, that's what all the guys in Europe use. Anymore is overkill.
EDIT: Can't remember the part numbers put I've posted them up a few times in response to this question.

stick with standard injectors, a patrik black box, and an AFR gauge,
keep an eye out on the afrs at full boost, too high and consider either slightly bigger injectors or mappable ecu

I've got an emanage blue as well mate. I was only trying to steer clear of it yet due to the mapping costs and as my original plan was to use a 130mm pulley but as I've now noticed its a 145mm rather than 160mm I'm just gonna stick with the 145mm. So if I were to use the emanage would that then control the injectors fully rather then the ecu controlling them?

I'll weigh up the costs then and make a decision.
Stav, what did you say I needed for those injectors mate? Was it seals? Also how do I know all the injectors are working ok?

Seals yes, and if you don't know send them off for cleaning, it's one of the possible causes of my engine failure a broken injector
