A few weeks ago my IS200 got a CEL. I've got a code reader constantly plugged into my OBD-port, so I immediately checked the error code. It turned out to be P0135 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1.

I didn't panic, since it didn't really affect the engine performance, but i think the fuel consumption went up a bit.
My local spare parts store wanted £200 for a new O2 sensor, so I ordered one from Ebay and kept driving. The delivery time was around a week and I needed to use my car to get to work, so I just crossed my fingers and hoped nothing bad would happen.
A few days later I started my car to drive home from work and the CEL started flashing along with the TRC light. I read the following codes:

Also, I could feel the car wasn't running on all six cylinders. I drove it home and let it sit until I got my new O2 sensor.
I'm not sure how old O2 sensor should look, but I've got a feeling they should be a little bit cleaner than this:

I replaced the sensor, reset the ECU and started the car. It was still running on five cylinders, so I checked all the spark plugs. 1-5 looked fine, but number 6 was wet and smelled petrol. I cleaned it a bit and then swapped it with the number 5 one. After putting everything back together again I turned the key and the engine was as smooth as ever :w00t:
I just thought I'd post this in case someone else experiences the same thing in the future.

Ha ha ha ive had sane stuff happening to me changed the o2 sensors that worked for a day or so then gradualy started again then cleaned plugs again that helped till eventually at the weekend I found track marks down the side of a plug only slight black lines about a hairs width where it had been arching out an causing problems miss fires an from the afr guage making the lambdas run funny to
I had six unused ignition coils lying around, so I replaced them after I got the car running again. I've also ordered a set of new spark plugs, just in case.
