It's a 2.8 ratio diff if I'm not mistaken. Much lower than the 4.1 diff on an IS200.

This is good if you've got a v8, as it means a) 1st and 2nd gear aren't a waste of time and b) you aren't doing 4000rpm on the motorway.

BMW diff used because of size and relative ease of adaptation into the IS200. The CW is 188mm same as IS200. The diff shown in pic is 2.35 a good cruising ratio with 4 ltr's up front.........
