I know what your saying this is the exact reason I have got my charger clutch on a switch so if the worse happens I can disconnect the intercooler pipe and run it as ram air till I've fixed the issue

If you are worried about road damage, get the bus. I've pulled a hare out of a bone stock DC5 integra and it took out the radiator and the AC rad, in addition to the bodywork. You will never escape the risk of destroying something on the road. Fixing/replacing an intercooler isn't a huge job in the grand scheme of things.

One thing you will get with that poking out of your bumper is aggro from the police and other drivers.

There is a lot of modified cars where I live, we used to have one of the biggest cruise scenes in the UK going on my doorstep so the police don't take much notice of how your car looks round this way, as long as your not driving like a nutter they take no notice Smile

But if you are happy with it that's all that matters. It's good to be different

Ok guys I finally finished the intercooler setup just need to get a dump valve and pressure regulator boost gauge and do some paint work but ill keep you updated
