So not much has happened since my last update.

Picked up a new O2 sensor.

Out with the old one.

The old one looks like it had seen better days.

And in with the new.

I also changed the discs and pads on the rear. Unfortunately the thicker pads meant that my sticking calliper was a lot more noticeable. Sad

So i ended up taking both rear callipers off and sending them to these guys http://www.brake-caliper-painting.com/ to be refurbished. I realised my mistake almost immediately. I had forgotten that i was driving to Silverstone the next week for the British Grand Prix. After a frantic phone call i was assured they'd be finished and back to me in time. Four days later I had heard nothing, another phonecall, "Oh we need to order new pistons, you'll have to pay extra." I was quoted for a full refurbishment including all seals and pistons, turns out that wasn't the case apparently. So begrudgingly i paid up still hoping to have my callipers back in time, they said they'd call me the next day when the pistons came in and they finished the rebuild. Waited a day, guess what no phone call. I call them, get some excuse, the pistons had arrived but they hadn't done anything. Turns out i wasn't getting them back in time for the Grand Prix.

So i ended up hiring a car for the Grand Prix Weekend. Which was awesome by the way, the Grand Prix, not the hire car. >.<

My callipers did arrive back a week later. So twice as long as they said they would take, and to make matter worse the slider pin was still seized. So i ended up taking it apart myself and fixing it. They did at least look good though.

All fitted up. Excuse my rusty discs, the car had been sat for a while.

So yeah if you are ever tempted to get your callipers refurbed i would not recommend that company, they don't seem to care unless your car is a supercar. They promise photos of your callipers during the whole process showing the work they've done but i never saw any of that. Total lack of communication, i was constantly chasing them up. I opted out of 20% discount on the promise that they would get them back to me in time for the Grand Prix which they did not deliver on. Went I did email them after i got the callipers back highlighting the issues, the emails went unanswered.

Car went in for its MOT after this which it failed for a split in the boot of the front drivers drop link. A quick £10 fix fortunately and it passed the next day.

Oh and the car reached 150000miles. I missed the pic by a mile.

Next month i'll be getting a Whiteline Rear Anti Roll bar to replace my stock one and then hopefully a set of 16x8 Enkei RPF1's.

Forgot I had added HID's to the Levin as well. They were easy enough to fit but I found they didn't sit right on their own so I ended up modifying the old bulb plug to make them sit properly.

By chopping the ends of the old bulb plug I was able to fit that the the rear or the HiD Bulb making it seat correctly inside the headlight.

So a little update. I got my hands on an ARC Intake Chamber, it was in need of a tidy up.

Decided to get rid of my carbon fibre Cold Air Intake and get a HKS Panel Filter for the stock airbox.

Fitting it was easy enough even though it took a bit longer than expected.

Removed the old droplinks.

Unfortunately i managed to ****** one of the fuel tank strap bolts in the process, luckily a new bolt was only £1.60 from Toyota.

The new sway bar has made a huge difference to the handling of the car, its a lot more planted in corners now. I guess that shouldn't be a surprise considering how shagged the old one was. Oh and no more knocking!

Quick update. After being driven mad by a knock coming from the rear of the car i finally bit the bullet and bought a new rear sway bar. Ended up getting a Whiteline one along with some new droplinks also Whiteline.

Fitting it was easy enough even though it took a bit longer than expected.

I ended up going with my gut and getting the 16x8's in F1 Silver. I had originally planned to get them sprayed Matte Bronze like my current wheels, but after seeing them in person I changed my mind.

Had to have a quick test fit to make sure they didn't foul anything.

I guess this could be considered a big update. I've been planning on getting new wheels for a while. Had my heart set on a set of Enkei RPF1's, after uhmming and ahhing about wether I should get 16x7 or 16x8 for a while things just sorta fell in to place and I ended up purchasing a set.

I ended up going with my gut and getting the 16x8's in F1 Silver. I had originally planned to get them sprayed Matte Bronze like my current wheels, but after seeing them in person I changed my mind.

Got they tyres fitted today, went with 205/45/16 Toyo T1R's, tiny bit of stretch just to stop them scrubbing.
