My IS200 build
My IS200 build
Added 2 more layers to this base for added strength and i must say the whole structure is feeling really strong (it still amazes me how strong just 3 layers of fibreglass feels) and really light this whole thing can be carried about with one hand, unfortunately have not uploaded the pictures yet will do that when i get home after work, the rings and the stretching of the material over that will take place after pay day i'll upload the photos this afternoon.
Ok so its been a while since i last updated the forums, as it stands now the Sub inclosure that i started is about 90% complete, i ran out of Fibre glass matt and should be getting more this weekend...
I also finally received the go ahead to start looking for my new car, which to be honest is a daunting task at this stage and was wondering if i could have your opinions on the matter...
I have a choice of 3 cars, unfortunately only one is Jap and is also my first choice but as time has gone on a good straight well looked after version in my price range have become rare...
Any way the choices are :
2002 Subaru Legacy B4 RSK TT
2004 BMW 320D M-SPort (possibly even go for the coupe)
Audi A4 Turbo (petrol or Diesel are fine)
My budget is €3500 and should have the cash by September
If any of you have any other ideas please let me know as I said i would like to stay Jap so we can join you at JAE again and other shows of course, but if i can't find anything worthy i may have to go German...
Legacys aren't that common so I'd go for that
ZAIS200 2002 Subaru Legacy B4 RSK TTThat one gets my vote. My turbo came from one of those.

Nice IS 200!
Mind if i ask for some GTE rods and pistons laying around not being used that could be for sale?

You will be very lucky to find the Pistons and rods, best bet would be to look into getting custom made
