GUTTED! got a call back today and its a no go :crying: chap tells me having looked into it there aint anything that can do with the hitatchi ecu. apparantly the older ones did have the siemens ecu like the renault and they can be done, but mine sadly not. He says the only option is a tuning box, i sell DPT tuning boxes which are the only ones i trust & the dont do a programe for mine either. DOH!!

Every cloud tho, I've been wanting to have a tart up under the bonnet for a while so frees up a bit of money to spend at ASH also need to get a flange cut for the airflow sensor so I can make little induction kit.
Looks like its gonna be heading that way, bit out of my depth on that front though?

I've just been looking at silicone hoses argh! I don't know where to start? The bigger hoses for the cooling and the couple that aren't hard plastic for the supercharger & intercooler are easy but my main goal is to tidy up & uniform the tones of vacume hoses & breathers etc and it seems their is loads of different sizes. What do I need for those? Looking on ASH do I just get the 1ply stuff? And does it bend? Also do I get different stuff for the bigger pipes for the rad & intercooler etc? Never ****** about with this stuff before so any advise would be great. Cheers
If they have twists and bends you may need to get some made specially

I have found k&n now do a panel filter for it tho so that's one little job I can do, there is a baffle sort of thing in the air box which cuts off about a quarter of the filter. Its there to reduce noise I've read so gonna cut it out & pop a new filter in and see if sounds a bit better plus a bit more air flow never hurts.
Well I've got in touch with a few hose company's and no kits off the shelf, infact I was made to feel like a nutter for even asking by one firm, but that same lot make a kit for the old K11 Micra? Lol.
