I'm looking for at least a 1tb media player to watch films on for my tv. Has anyone got any recommendations for which kind to get.

30-04-2023, 06:20 PM #2I recently replaced my old Boxee Box with an Asus chromebox, which I've installed Openelec/Kodi on. I don't use the internal drive though, I've got a 6TB NAS that contains all my movies and TV shows. That's my favorite media player solution so far.
I'll look it up and see what it is.

It's similar to the system in my house

Well I've got a hard drive . But if you just put that into the TV it dose not recognise it because it's to big. Up till now I just put the films onto a memory stick and put that direct into the TV. But that's just a carry on. So just needing something to save me doing that

My dad brings me new toys ever time he visits so it didn't cost me anything.
I have my pc hooked up to my TV down stairs and i stream everything (movies, tv shows, Netflix and Downloaded materials) from there to every room in the house,for me it was te cheapest option so i made it work... My dad brings me new toys ever time he visits so it didn't cost me anything.
