Well the insurance company rang to tell me the quote was looking OK & everything should be ready to go soon but for some reason the where unsure of my excess? And did I know? So I said I didn't? But think its £500. Anyway she rang back to let me know its £250 which is a result! Especially since I've checked on this years policy and it definitely says £500.
Bit of good news on this, as I'm claiming comp so as to get my car fixed quicker I have to pay my excess & then get it back if the decision goes my way.

Got my Micra back from the body shop looks great! But with having to pay my excess and paying the VAT because its on a buissnes policy its wound up costing me £630 for now. I'll claim the VAT back and hopefully get my excess back. But at the moment it feels very expensive considering I was the one who got hit & did no wrong. :cursing:
