looks great, i loved them when i fitted them, such a easy mod but makes a big difference, 6k is right for any lexus, but 8k on a blue car is ideal

Someone on the "other side" was asking me where I mounted my ballasts, so I thought I might as well as share the info here.

OK, some pics of where I have mounted the ballasts.

Drivers side:

Passengers side: (the ballast for this side is a bit harder to do, as there isn't much room, so smaller ballasts have worked to my advantage here)

Im now looking to have a go at one of these hid kits, but i think the lights are such a great improvement of what i had in my previous car (vauxhall vectra) already. So what light bulb size kit would i need for my IS?

check my link (post # 21), the same kit will fit your car.

You need the 9006/HB4 type bulbs. You need to choose the temp of the bulbs- 4300k, 6000k or 8000k. I went for 6000k.

Well i eventually got round to order the same kit as kam05, lets hope its is easy to install. Im ok with the mechanical side, but electrics is another thing lol
