Just wondering if it's better to have more grip at the front for steering or the rear as that's where the power goes (not that there's much in an IS:FishSmile I always thought the front was better but as my front tyres are better than my rear I was wondering if it's worth swapping them over.

Cheers.

40mm Lowering Springs, Re-sprayed Front, 6000K HID's, Re-furbed alloys, Bandit Induction Kit (cheers Chris), Raised boot spoiler with LED, Blue calipers with silver decals, De-badged rear, Chrome Oil Filler Cap (thanks to Chris again), White LED dash bulbs, Blue a/c control bulbs, Blue door markers and interior lights, Sony head unit, Chrome Lexus tax disc holder, TRD side skirts, Original Saloon Front Bumper re-fitted instead of Sportcross

TBH I have Conti Sports all round and never really had any major issues with lack of grip. But a LSD and Race Logic TC system help a lot:wink:

Should really have best tyres on the back in a rwd drive car. Ideally the same tyres all round.

I prefer a little bit of oversteer to understeer, but think with a RWD car my personal opinion is to have the better tyres on the rear.

Tyre manufacturers will always recommend that you have more grip on the rear. It's the same for both FWD and RWD cars, and it's because understeer (when you don't have enough grip at the front) is much more easy to deal with than oversteer (when you lose grip at the rear).

Yes, swap your front tyres to the rear if you have more grip right now at the front.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !
