It would probably be a traffic car due to the engine size and the police do use autos especially in traffic as they are used more and it is cheaper than having to replace clutches, so makes sense to be auto.
It will have been driven hard but well maintained as Ormi said main dealer for all major bits but minor servicing in house, but the technicians will have had the necessary training on the make of car before being able to do it anyhow, so you can guarantee it'll be well serviced just won't be a lady driver :tongue_smilie: sounds good buy on the whole!!

Dan_Turism0 hmm don't think it's likely to be ex-50 tbh mate, as i understood the police don't use auto's

A friend of mine in the police force told me once they used IS as marked and unmarked cars. I didn’t believe him at the time, because as we all know there are a lot quicker saloon cars out there than the mighty IS.

Also recently I did see an unmarked GS fly passed me, which looked glorious.

And the Humberside Police have taken on one of these as their new squad car. :thumbup1:

Marsdendean Im sure ive seen an IS200 around glossop with flashing lights, but then it looked a bit dodgy because it was an IS!

Won't be fast enough to catch a crook though.
