Hi Phil,

Im sorry to hear about the problems you have had with TGT! I didn't think there was any issues with the car until i started reading this build diary. Sure there would be teathing problems but surely not this bad!!!!!!!

As you know my project is with them and although i can't comment on your project mine has been going swimmingly! My car is pretty much stored there free of charge and i am over seeing the project on a weekly basis and i honestly can't fault their work so far! They have given me a reduced cost in labour as they haven't done a project like mine before and i wasn't even expecting that. James has done alot of strengthening work on mine as he is worried about the strength of mine as it was never really meant for the amount of power we are going for.

My bro's car is also with them most of the time as im sure you know and he has never had any problems with them either.

I know its sometimes hard to get James on the phone but i don't think he is ignoring you mate. I know when he is working on customer cars that he doesn't like being dragged away from them and would rather see the job done.

As i said i can't comment for your project as i don't know both sides and don't know whats been done etc.

just my two pence worth........

Phil,

I have just recieved an email from James asking me to post the below text as he can't add a reply to this topic. This has not been changed one bit and has been coppied then pasted from my email.

I have no sides here and i am just relaying what has been said to me. There is no point replying to it on here and i would contact James directly if you have anything to say.

Hi Phil.

I will keep this brief and only post once so not to get into silly arguments because you are a good bloke.

This project was complex and difficult for 2 reasons, it had never been done before or properly documented before, and we were on a very very tight budget, there was no profit in the job, and we had to think ourselves around alot of issues.

If we done it again we would do things differently based on what we learnt the first time round, so its no surprise the are improvements that can be made.

It was such a project there were going to be teathing issues which I asked you to come back to me with, you havnt come back to me about any of the above issues so I cant help.

We covered miles in the car and you have done some good mileage too so the work we done worked, ok it could be improved on, but then things can always be improved on so I expected to see you again in the future.

There are things that have been changed that didn’t need doing but I’m not going to bang on.

I have left 2 emails with you and several phone calls to see how we can help, and hav’nt had a replay yet but feel free to contact me, we most certainly have not turned our back on your project, you chose to take it elsewhere which is your choice.

Please use my mail addy or phone number, as I wont be posting here again.

All the best
James

Very eloquently put James, bit like the reply on the charge cooler thread over on IMOC, I am sure you remember that one and how it went?

You have a return to your e-mail - a long reply.

You haven't upset anyone Jason.
Things will be resolved as we are all adults and know how to play the gameWink

I knew nothing of this until I got to work today as I don't have internet at home, and the wife had the company mobile phone, but left it in the car so no idea James was trying to call me.
