How about the crx aero top the was a great design of it time.
The way the roof dropped into the boot was a great bit of engineering.

Also best Type R ever made, being a previous civic owner these car are considered the only true incarnation of the civic type r, light weight paint (only one coat), light weight recaro interior, 16 inch magnesium superlight wheels, B16B engine 185bhp from a 1.6 litre engine with a 9000rpm red line.

Totally awesome.
