Unfortunately it doesn't work, I can't work out how the red lens comes off - without breaking it?

Does it not have a loom attached then? That could be a right pain, I bet it's glued in place.

The loom is there, it plugs straight into the Lexus loom, I need to get my multi meter out and check from there. But got the next week off so plenty of time to play with it, especially now the sun is out again.

Using a Vodafone mobile thing to get net access this week - pleasantly surprised at how good it is on VISTA, on XP it just crashed every 5 mins.....

Actually thinking about it the high level brake light in the MR2 is like that. If you fit one to a non JDM car, the plug in the roof is there, but there's a wire missing further down the loom. Wonder if the Lex is the same!

Got the High level break light working, a simple wiring issue 10 second fix, one wire was crimped on the insulation not the copper.

Boot badges also now in place, I reused the old badges, they only needed a good clean and some thin numberplate adhesive tape to secure to the boot lid.
