It's very common to find that with HID kits on the IS200 you have to plug in the connectors the "wrong" way round. Try it as per the instructions, but if it doesn't work, then don't panic, just try reversing the electrical connectors, which is probably easiest to do where the "bulb" units plug into the ballasts (i.e just flip the 2-pin connector through 180 degrees). For some reason it seems the IS200's wiring is a different way round to usual.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

What are the differences between the cheap HID sets on ebay and the more expensive sets:confused1:. I was looking on the Hids4u site but they're almost twice the priceConfusedhock:.

I've got a 53 plate is200 so will i need a set that deals with the bulb warnings?

I bought one of the more expensive sets, but that was very early on in my IS200 ownership and I don't think I'd do the same again. I don't imagine there's much/any difference, though I'd be interested if I'm proved wrong.

No you don't need any special set, just one for the correct bulb type (9006/HB4 for dipped beam IS200).
