A cheap LPG conversion will ruin the car. Look for something like a Pirns LPG system - they are among the best available.

I al so have a sneaky feeling the IS200 needs valve lube fitted? Something to look out for otherwise the valves will be wrecked.

If there is a noticeable difference between LPG and petrol walk away.

I think you're going about it the right way by checking up on it really carefully. Yeah the springs are not a big deal, as standard springs have got to be easy to get hold of, and even the TTE lowering springs are only £150 so you could get a set of those and swap out what's there. As long as the service history is good (did you say it was all Lexus) then it should have been looked after. Although as you have said I do question the man who just lowers the front of a car..........

That's probably out of this price range, especially with the charger as he's looking for £2k for just the charger kit.......

I'll have my standard springs on Wed when mine's been lowered so if you do go for it you can have those.

40mm Lowering Springs, Re-sprayed Front, 6000K HID's, Re-furbed alloys, Bandit Induction Kit (cheers Chris), Raised boot spoiler with LED, Blue calipers with silver decals, De-badged rear, Chrome Oil Filler Cap (thanks to Chris again), White LED dash bulbs, Blue a/c control bulbs, Blue door markers and interior lights, Sony head unit, Chrome Lexus tax disc holder, TRD side skirts, Original Saloon Front Bumper re-fitted instead of Sportcross

Marsdendean Black leather did only come on the later IS thou. The leather in the middle of the seats is the same pattern as the suede (or the other posh word that Steve uses!!)

Ecsaine is the word you're looking for ! That's the brand name of the suede-like fabric that Lexus use on those half-leather interiors. It's like Alcantara, but that's a brand name too (Alcantara is the name of a company, Ecsaine is by Toray).

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

And in my view alcantara does a better job of imitating suede than escaine which to me is more of a velour......

Well been looking around for a decent, i did say im going to be patient !

my cousin has pointed me to this:

http://autos.blue-sock.com/clients/19/si...lue=149454

My cousin buys motors of this company, repairs them and sells them on, thats how he saw it, he wants me to come with him tomorrow after work to take a look at the damage

54 plate for 3195? ok not sure what damage it has

gold color and automatic, and probally full leathers?? nice alloys as well

he's said the guy probally will drop the price for him, as he buys many cars from him and is actually going tomorrow with me to pick cars up whilst we there.

will be interesting, what you think? he reckons he can get it for about 2800
