Agreed, that is very ugly. Though front wings change a lot, and I would bet that's changed before the first race anyway.
Thing is it will probably work quite well because Mike Gascoyne isn't exactly new to F1 car design.

I think those photos are exaggerating it slightly, I'm not sure if it will look that bad on track but I could be wrong. I do think the cars look unusually long though due to the larger fuel tanks - I know we'll get used to it like we did the wide fronts and skinny rears last year, but it's still weird when you see them side on.

but regulations were different and they probably never expected to have to build an f1 limousine and at least they didnt have to use money from a budget cap to rectify the problem
