Been looking at different motors over the past few weeks, and trying to come up with a few options? Just wondered what your thoughts were on the Honda Accord Type R, 2.2ltr, 212bhp models?

Seen quite a few over the past few weeks going for silly money, A couple i've seen have the Hondata Ecu supplied with them, that ups the power a bit, and is programmable to different mods, ie: supercharger or turbo, induction kits etc, so room to improve if i get the chance??

Thought it might be something different or there's always another is200, but think i'll miss having that bit of extra power and the is200 without the supercharger just wont be the same? The running costs are about on the same level as an is200 but with more power on tap??

Quite like this one CLICK ME?

:confused::confused:

Thoughts guy's? :thumbup1:

yeah i like that mate great as standard and loads of potential for improvement, lots of space for screens and gauges, nice recaro seats, could be a good project if thats what your plans are. how much space is under the bonnet on them?

@ Stav

That's something i thought mate, but i know there's quite a few parts out there for them if i do want to push it a bit and make it a bit quicker? Trying to stay with a Jap motor if i can, but have looked at the golf GT TDi and the Audi A3 tdi but i'd have to go for the chip so it goes a bit better? My other half said why don't i go for a Starlet GT or Glanza V EP91 model? :confused:

For the money i don't think its a bad motor? the mileage doesn't bother me, as long as its been looked after it should be ok :thumbup1:

Just been reading up on the Hondata ecu, Sounds like a good bit of kit to have, as it lets you tune your motor, raise the rev limit, play with the fuelling plus quite a bit more, so you can fine tune it to suit the mods you fit?

Think i'd leave it to a pro though, as it would be just my luck to blow it up Confusedhock::crying:
