Yeh i know mate, if my Skyline ever sells i'll have to have a good look around and see what's about? I've found another is200 the same as i had before for £1900 so would give me a few £'s to add a few bits if i wanted to? Just the power thing really as the is200 has half the power i have now, and my old is200 was supercharged, so going back to 153bhp wont be fun :Sulk: But at least i could afford to run it until i get on my feet again, which is the main thing i'm after :thumbup1:

When i ever get working again, i'll probably go after another Skyline? Amazing motor to own and will miss it when it goes?

If i get a job very soon and i've still got the skyline, it'll be staying and i'll start to get the power up to around 400bhp and enjoy it like i wanted to :thumbup1:

My opinion mate is to get a small little car and save your money until you get a decent job. Then you will be able to enjoy a fast IS200 or a Skyline or whatever you like.

I personally rate the Accord Type-Rs. When they hit VTEC with the correct exhaust they sound like an F1 car!

When I had my S2000 I had quite a few chats with parts manager at my local Honda - really nice guy and knowledgable. He said that the employees were taken on a course a few months back where they got a drive different Hondas. They were given the chance to drive an S2000 and Accord Type -R back to back. Most people rated the Accord Type-R as the faster car in a normal persons hands because its front wheel drive and not tail happy like a rear wheel drive S2000 so you could drive it without as much fear.

Worth thinking about............. Smile

I quite like the "sleeper" aspect of the Accord Type-R.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

I wouldn't really do much to it either mate, probably just do a tidy up on a few bits like the engine bay and just have a nice clean looking motor for a bit, until i can afford to do a few engine mods Big Grin
