You need an 18mm MDF spacer to fit after market ones though.

It should be worked.If you get the ones with the external cross-overs, you will have to experiment to see if they are needed and whether they sound better than just utilizing the internal amp low pass filter.I looked for mid bass only that were in the range of the speakers you linked to.I have the Audiobahn and like them plenty.The MA Audio and the Pyle Dryver look like bargains.All three are less than the $109.00 price of the JBL's you linked to.
