So these parts would have to be left with him before releasing the charger to someone who wanted to fit it themselves. i've had no joy with my £2K offer + parts, think the owner is holding out for very close to the £2.2K asked, even tho it has best offer on the ebay advert.

That's a good offer IMHO- the parts that you are willing to supply, how much would they cost? The parts you would be supplying are probably worth a few £££?
