Quite a few countries have very strict rules about add-ons to your car, e.g. in some countries you need TUV approval for all the parts - and the TTE charger is TUV-approved. But then some countries don't even recognise TUV and need their own homologation, or even just say "you can't change anything" !

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

Just like here in chocco land...... they dont accept he TueV certificates and it has to be approved by a testing house with wil take your kidneys as a down payment.

for power increases below 19% no certification is needed but they need to certify it is below 19% :confused1:

yer they are very tight over here..... the guy who just did mine wanted to fail me because of my flashing back lights. he spent 20 minutes ringing up and reading his manual to find out if he could fail it... no chance so he gave me a mark for moister in the headlamps.... but you need 2 to get a fail....

LGV MOT inspectors are like that in the UK. Always looking for something to fail the vehicle, their test books are well thumbed.

"Life's goal is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body. But, rather to skid in sideways........
totally worn out and broken, shouting 'Holy ****, WHAT A RIDE!'"
