Ok I'm thinking of getting some of my pipes chromed , do you think this is a good idea

Also would the aluminum pipe from the throttle body be ok to chrome aswell.

My work are sending some things away to get done so I thought about putting my stuff away at the same time, but I've not asked them if its ok for me to do that yet:Fish:

Dose anyone know of any other company that dose this ??

Lexus IS200 Mods--TTE Supercharger, Tein Superstreet Coilovers & EDFC, 6000K HID Lights, HKS Silent High Power Exhaust, DBA Front Discs, Kenwood DNX9240 Head Unit, 19" Rims, TRD Kit, FIGS Bonnet Struts, Greddy Pillar Pod & Defi Gauges, TTE Red ARBS . And Been To WIM twice

I don't think there are that many chrome companies around any-more, its very labour intensive and expensive. There's a guy somewhere near me that does exhausts on motorbikes, I will see if I can dig out the details but its years since I saw him........

But if your company is OK with you doing it then go for it, your car shins already, why not make it shine more:p

If you can get them chromed mate get them done, a lot of places i knew of cant afford to do it now due to the law being very very strict about who does it, due to the damage any waste causes!

I could be wrong, but isn't it especially hard to chrome-plate aluminium ? (as compared to steel)

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

Its over 2 feet wide and uses 8" wheels, compared to my drill and 4"- 6" wheels works amazing :thumbup:

I will have to find out a price and how long its going to take, the place is in Englandshire but dont know any details yet, I'm going to ask my boss tomorrow and see what he says !!

But if it takes to long or is to much £££££ then I wont be doing it, Wish I thought of this earlier in the year when I was not using the car because I would not have minded if it took a few weeks for the turn around Confusedmoke:
