Hi everyone.

Sorry for being miserable and not responding to posts and the like. I'm having to deal with a new addition to the family. A new dog is ariving in the next few weeks so I have been trying, very reluctantly, and not very successfully to sell my LS430.

It's been on Ebay as an advertisement for a month now and I have had three offers, one for £3000, another for £4000 and believe it or not, an offer for £39,000, so long as I shipped it to Ghana and gave the guy my bank account details and sort code there and then and bunged my LS in a crate straight to Ghana.

I've heard nothing from autotrader either so I think I might have to just keep it after all. **** shame. I was thinking of starting another thread called "101 uses for an LS430" just to show how versatile these cars really are.

So I am now going to have to have three cars. My horrid Nissan Micra for work, my LS for Sunday best, and a 51 reg Honda Civic to chuck the dog in. And before I forget, it's a Rotweiller that's on it's way so I needed a big hatchback.

Sorry to bore you all to death with my current life story.

Be good.

Jim.

Yep. She will be 7 weeks when I pick her up.

In terms of selling the LS, no one seems to want them. You couldn't give it away. I do have a garage where it can sit with a cover over it. I'll break it our for very special ocassions, like JAE, can't think of any others. Someone did say to me though that while it sits in the garage, it's not costing any petrol so I will let autotrader run it's course. I won't accept any offers on it and your right, I would regret it if it went. I might just have to accidentley remove it from autotrader.

Jim i think the real reason you're looking to sell it is it takes to long to polish

you have a point there. You do need surgery by the time you have polished it. Last time I used the G220 on it I lost the feeling in my right hand for 2 months.Big Grin

Well, as far as I can tell, it's the only LS430 in Harlow so that makes it worth keeping. I thought I had the best car where I moved to till some bloke got his Masseratti Quattroporte out. It just goes to show, there is always someone who is going to win the mines bigger than yours game.
