Asi well insurance is going to be under the garages traders policy so cool that way.
but if you own the car, and/or dont work for the garage then its a bit dodgy isnt it?

28-02-2018, 07:20 AM #292cool-at least it should be done quite soon tho - i would think covering it on the traders insurance is the simplest way too - if it came to it eventually you can rego it to them-its certainly going to showcase their work as well as yours-one more name on a logbook wont matter to a car like this as long as you have cover-plus i would imagine asi is classed as working there now due to the many hours a week he does there on this one

Another thought on the cooling side of things would be to use Water Wetter, quite a few racing cars use it as it brings down the temps! WATER WETTER LINK FOR OPIE OILS :thumbup1:

Bandit Another thought on the cooling side of things would be to use Water Wetter, quite a few racing cars use it as it brings down the temps! WATER WETTER LINK FOR OPIE OILS :thumbup1:
Prius owners also use it in the USA to get engine temps up faster - therefore metter MPG.

yes and no it depends on how the garage do it....yes you can add family and friends to a traders policy but the car must be named on the policy...
reason they might void the claim if the car is owened by you and not a customer..

Asi when Marcus was running it he said the turbo didnt heat up so i dont see it heating up now as theres more room between the radiator and the turbo itself. if it does have any problems then cermaic coating will help.
Hi all not been around, for long time,
When the car was up and running with the turbo, it use to over heat, and that was down to it leaning out!! "IE" to much boost and not the right fueling= lean, it did not over heat cos of the turbo!! , when i did away with the boost pipe from the turbo! the car would run all day long and the heating was ok, dont for get he did drive the car back! and it was ok,
i did say at the time all he had to do was get the fueling right and the car would boost all day long with out overheating .
