I don't know the definitive answer, but to me, it would seem weird to store it in the clocks, since it would be so easy for someone to swap to falsify mileage ?

The miliage IS stored on the Speedo unit!!!
Before my Odometer reading was 150,853 (yes i know its high, blah, blah, blah) and after i put the spare speedo cluster in it read 105,815.
Looks like you may have a problem selling the speedo Ed, but on a good note my Odometer reading has dropped 45k or so :laugh: ......only kidding, put the original back in as the spare one has no needles, speedo face etc.
So now we all know the score, +rep i think :laugh::Fish:
