First you need to jack up your car and place on axle stands and remove your wheels.

Next wash and dry your wheels .
Now for a product to protect your wheels, I used Rim Wax.

![[Image: P1010231.jpg]](http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn9/moleypics/P1010231.jpg)
Apply using applicator pad

Just give them a good coat with the wax.

once you have done this to the inside and outside of the wheel buff off with a microfiber cloth.

stand back and admire your work knowing that your wheels are now protected from brake dust and road salt.
This should last you a good 6 months and only takes an hour to do .
very nice, i use a spray wax myself only as i get it for free from work but great job
To true Gord :Chair:
Nice work mate
Chances of rimwax protection working 6 months is nil I'm afraid!
I'd advise you put at least 3 coats on the wheels, especially if you have taken them off the car, even then I'd still recoat them every 8 weeks, minimum.
My advice is from my own personal testing when I had my own detailing business, I also found poorboys wheel sealant to be more longer lasting.
All IMO of course, still good write up amigo
Yes Wozza I also thought that would get a few giggles
Also a good one from Dave
