OK well here we go

Car developed fault once it had calmed down it was gone untill the following evening driving along boosted fine droped to steady cruise then foot down to overtake and nothing if anything tried to go slower once foot was down.

still no reason for this....

so

i thought i know ill rewire the ecu and move it to into the car so after 3 hours of wire extending heatshrinking every joint and braiding the loom very sexy after.

i test fitted in the engine bay loom hanging over edge of car worked a treat removed battery and routed cables through bulk head etc etc tidied all the wiring up car back together.

Back fire upon starting and then would not self idle go figure ...

so back to drawing board stripped entire ecu loom back out again rewired with 0.5m loom sat aem FIC on top of ecu and worked fine Still working fine.

no issue with boosting last night

did however find a loose hose clip on a pipe leading from the filter down to a release valve i think hurricane will be able to confirm this so tightened that up and looked at other clips they all seem ok

the journey continues ....

Well the pipework seemed to come from somewhere down the bottom of the engine. Could see a pipe into a silver unit and a pipe out that went back into the airfilter pipe pre-turbo. Im assuming this is some sort of recirc valve rather than a BOV.
Either way it was low pressure side, so probably not causing too much of an issue, but at least its sealed up now.
I did notice that everything that requires a vacuum pipe is T'd off the previous fitting, which ive never been a fan of. Would be better with things like the FPR and MAP sensor having dedicated vacuum lines IMO.
Other than that im at a loss. Must be Rabsters dodgy wiring :p
