Do they? I've got the aux and it's fine for the minute, hope that continues! :thumbup1:

Yep very simple, it was just 4 bolts and 2 screws to get my dash apart - in fact I spent more time just masking the dash to prevent scratching it (which you HAVE to do) than actually taking it apart.

A lot of us on here have done it before so there's plenty of advice available should you need it Smile

Couldnt find a walkthrough on here. Is it worth buying a used one and saving £40?

We can take our dash out in less that ten minutes, you slide the top panel off (where the little piece of fabric is(but sometimes under the fabric there are two screws, undo these))
Then slide out the bottom panel (the heated seats, and trc and snow button panel)
Unclip the wires from the buttons to make work easier.
You should see 2 bolts above the A/C unit when top panel is taken off, undo these.
You should also see 2 bolts under the headunit when bottom panel is taken on, undo these.
Now lift both the units up a couple of centimetres, now pull the whole thing forward, and it should come out. Now just located the wire you have to put GROM into, then put it all back together.

Yeap taping up the dash is the longest bit, dont think i actually removed the headunit, just the bottom bolts and the dash tray, which gave enough room to feel your way to the back of the HU, THIS shows where my unit sat before i removed it
